THE LORD'S PRAYER

"But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.  Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of before ye ask him.  After this manner therefore pray ye:

OUR FATHER WHICH ART IN HEAVEN,

HALLOWED BE THY NAME,

THY KINGDOM COME.

THY WILL BE DONE IN EARTH,

AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.

GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD,

AND FORGIVE US OUR DEBTS,

AS WE FORGIVE OUR DEBTORS.

AND LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION,

BUT DELIVER US FROM EVIL.

FOR THINE IS THE KINGDOM,

AND THE POWER,

AND THE GLORY,

FOR EVER,

AMEN."

Matthew 6:7-13

Prayer is always so powerful!  It is so powerful until it brings about changes that even we can't come close to imagining!  God loves hearing from us.  He simply adores hearing the voices of His little children, rising up from down here on earth and reaching His precious ears in Heaven!  He's a jealous God, and it makes His day when we give him attention, praises, and honor.  God loves us so much, until He has absolutely spoiled us! 

He didn't simply put us down here on earth, and then inform us that there is indeed a heaven and a hell, and a devil and a Christ; and then so uncaringly tell us that we're basically on our own, in choosing and deciding which destiny we'll eventually and inevitably reach!  He was kind, loving, and merciful enough to give us rules, regulations, help, guidance, warnings, and instructions, on how to go about making the correct choice of where we will spend our eternity. 

We all know that hell is a terrible place to end up in; burning forever and eternity while being tortured by old Satan and his ugly stinking demons!  We also know that Heaven is an absolutely wonderful, unbelievably beautiful, and an unimaginable paradise, where we all want to go, where we all dream of going, where we all hope to go, and where we all pray to go one day!  God is quite aware of the desire of our hearts; and He has provided us with weapons, tools, and instructions, on how to get to Heaven... that paradise in the sky, and how to get to Him, our almighty God, and to His sweet and precious son, Jesus Christ, who gave His life for us!
