The first twenty-six years of my life have been filled with an
abundance of adventure and experience. As a soldier in the
United States Army I have faced the trials of the war in Iraq
to the points of nearly losing my life. As a security guard at
Yellowstone National park I have overcome enduring obstacles
that stretched the limits of who I knew I could be. During a
moment in my life I was followed and trapped at the top of
a rocky mountain cliff by a Grizzly bear and lived to tell about
it. My courage has been tested and proved. By faith alone I have
broken the barriers of life's challenges. I stand as a witness to the
glory of God and his only son Jesus Christ; by their hands I am
made strong. With a walking stick in my hand and a backpack
slung over my shoulder I journey down God-given paths and
fully yield to the realization that the best trails in life are those
where you are simply going with God.
